'No One Fights Alone!'
Introduction~
The Marine Raiders are a light infantry force. They serve as the current top most Special Operation Force for the FMC or Flak Marine Core. The Raiders combine World War II tactics from the pacific theater, with present day special forces tactics to perform as a deadly special mission force. Rewind to the actual history of the United States Marine Core and the Marine Raiders, during World War II and you may find some of the exact qualities and tactics in our FMC Raiders!

History~
Marine Raiders derived from the United States Marine Core, and were officially commissioned in February of 1942. There were two Raider units at it's genesis; Carlsons Raiders commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Evans Carlson, and Edsons Raiders commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Merritt A. Edson. Both hand selected their recruits from the Marine Core and the United States Navy.

Marine Raiders operated in 'Fireteams' of three. Within these Fireteams they adapted tactics from the Chinese irregulars fighting off the occupying Japanese. Raiders then used rubber rafts to deploy stealthily to small lightly defended, Japanese held islands that were too irrelevant and inconvenient for a large scale amphibious assault.

Once inserted unto the enemy held territory, Raiders carried out there mission using light infantry forces and Guerrilla tactics. Raiders were equipped with the United States Marine Corp's best equipment. Raiders continued to be used throughout the rest of World War II; from Makin Atoll, to Bougainville. Because of their tradition and history, the U.S. Marine Corps hesitated to decommission the Raiders. Inevitably, the Marine Raiders were decommissioned in February 1945.

Requirements~
Raiders are hand selected, and must have some teamwork, tactical, and GameBattles skills to be present. FMC Standard Boot Camp is recommended and advised, along with successful completion of Flak Basic Training. Raiders are also required to take and complete 'Marine Special Operations And Advanced Tactics Training' (MSOT).
